You will see the cost before you owe anything
The lookup is free. If a bond is what you need, the full cost goes to you in writing first, and nothing is due until you have read it and agreed to it.
Call (800) 299-9981Any hour. Hablamos español.
What you are actually paying for
Two different things. Keep them separate.
- The premium. A percentage of the bond amount. This is the fee for the service and it does not come back, the same way an insurance premium does not come back.
- The collateral. Cash or property held as security. This is returned once the bond is formally cancelled and the agreement has been met.
Some companies quote them as one number. We will show you both, separately, with the exact figures for your case.
The lookup is free
There is no charge to find out where someone is being held, or whether a bond has been set.
Pay by phone
Call (800) 299-9981 any hour. We take major credit and debit cards, and the whole thing can be handled remotely if you are nowhere near the facility, or not in the country.
Pay online
A secure online payment link is coming. Until it is live, please call to pay by phone.
No annual or renewal fees
Some companies in this business charge a fee every year the bond stays open, which can quietly cost a family more than the original premium. We do not.
What we will never ask for
We will never ask you to pay by Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, gift card, or wire transfer. We will never ask for money before you have the cost in writing. We will never ask you to pay just to be told where someone is.
If anyone contacts you claiming to be us and asks for any of those, hang up and call (800) 299-9981 directly.
If you are paying ICE directly
You do not have to go through a bond company at all. A cash immigration bond can be posted directly with ICE through its own portal, and for some families that is the cheaper choice. We will tell you when we think it is.
